About the Use Case Editor

The use-case editor is a Windows application for capturing, refining, editing and sharing use-case based requirements among a development team. It can be used throughout the requirements gathering phase of a project to capture the initial use cases, to successively refine them in collaboration with stakeholders, to render them using standard use-case templates into PDF, Word or HTML documents, and to support their evolution in collaboration with version control.

The editor comes in two versions. The publicly available version is the same as the full, paid for edition except it is missing the version control facilities and the ability to merge models together to form a new larger model. The paid for edition is sold as an annual support contract, while the publicly available version is only supported by periodic updates to the available download.
